Power restored to 3,000 customers in Danville after outage

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Power is restored to 3,000 customers in Danville after an outage Saturday morning.

According to the City, the outage was caused by a blown lightning arrestor at the Southside substation.

The outage occurred at 8:45 a.m. Service was restored at 10:05 a.m.

The outage affected people in south Danville, including the Danville Community College area.
