(WSLS 10) – The ribbon will be cut today, opening a new building on the Radford University campus. The building will house the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences. The building includes a courtroom, a forensic lab, new technology, a television studio and social media watch center. The ribbon cutting is this afternoon at three.
The Greek Festival gets underway today in Roanoke. Enjoy moussaka, souvlaki and baklava as well as music and dancing. Admission is free, but take some cash with for the food. The festival is Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Virginia Tech homecoming week starts today. The week is full of activities for the community. Events this week include a campfire kickoff, canstruction, a concert by Hunter Hayes with Ryan Lafferty. It all leads up to the parade next Saturday and the football game against East Carolina.

Because of pre-orders, the company says it is already out of the iPhone 7 Plus and the new jet black iPhone 7. The new phone is water resistant and features stereo speakers and has a longer battery life, but it does not have a headphone jack. The new phones start at $649.
A three day special needs conference continues today in Roanoke County. The conference will cover ways to get special education services and resolving disputes with schools. It runs through Saturday at Bonsack Baptist Church.
