Trending: NY couple makes bed to fit eight rescue dogs

NEW YORK (WSLS 10) - A New York couple has successfully made a bed large enough to fit all eight of their rescue dogs.

The newlyweds run a nonprofit called The Mr. Mo Project, that rescues sick and elderly canines.

They wanted a bed that would be able to fit their growing family.

A local craftsman built the super-sized sleeper within four weeks.

At 14-feet long, it uses a king and a full mattress, and comes with stairs for older dogs who can't jump too high. It also comes with drawers to store blankets and bedding.

They also engraved paw prints for one of their pups who had passed away in the headboard.
