Police: One man injured after shooting in Danville

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Police are investigating a shooting in Danville that left one man injured.

Police responded to a call of a shooting victim in the parking lot of the Danville Regional Medical Center 142 South Main Street Wednesday night at about 9:30.

Officers found that a 43-year-old man had been shot in his leg.

The man said he had been riding in a car, in the 100 block of West James Street, when he heard gun shots. He then felt pressure in his left leg and found he had been shot.

Police say he went to the Danville Regional Medical Center for treatment, and his injuries were non-life threatening.
