Charlottesville company allows employee pets at work

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WVIR) - Going to work takes on new meaning for some Virginia employees because they have a best friend by their side.

At Crutchfield corporate headquarters in Albemarle County, employees can bring their dogs to the office.

There's a newly built pet park out back where the animals can run around and their owners can socialize.

Managers say having them at work helps boost morale.

Owner Bill Crutchfield said, "We love our employees and we have, we do everything we can to make this a wonderful place to work"

Some of the dogs even have their own name tags, and we're told they even attend staff meetings.

Crutchfield also offers its employees the chance to buy pet insurance at a discount.
