Hillary Clinton to appear on 'The Tonight Show' on September 19

NEW YORK (WSLS 10) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is set to appear on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," on Monday, Sept. 19 at 11:35 p.m. ET to begin the first week of the new fall TV season.

Her appearance comes a week before the presidential debate between her and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

This will mark Clinton's third appearance on "The Tonight Show." She was previously a guest on Sept. 16, 2015 and Jan. 14 earlier this year.

The premiere week schedule is as follows:

Monday, Sept. 19: Hillary Clinton, Terry Crews and musical guest Ariana Grande

Tuesday, Sept. 20: Mark Wahlberg, Sofia Vergara and musical guest MØ

Wednesday, Sept. 21: Kelly Ripa, Priyanka Chopra and musical guest Band of Horses

Thursday, Sept. 22: Hugh Jackman, Ken Jeong and musical guest Shawn Mendes

Friday, Sept. 23: Will Forte and Haley Bennett
