HENRY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Bobby Branch was found not guilty of attempting to murder his wife on Friday.
Although he was not guilty of that charge and maliciously shooting into an occupied dwelling, he was found guilty of abduction with intent to defile and using a firearm during the commission of the abduction.
On March 6th, 2015, Branch's wife called 911 to report a domestic incident.
The dispatcher heard gunshots, so multiple law enforcement agencies surrounded the home.
Branch surrendered after a short standoff. His wife was not hurt.
Sentencing is scheduled for December 6.
