SALEM (WSLS 10 SPORTS) -
Over the years the Salem Red Sox have focused attention on showing appreciation to both former and current members of the military. Saturday they hosted Military Appreciation night.
Representatives from all military branches were on hand to offer free giveaways and information to fans. Also available was a trading card set the organization created that features veterans from our area. A silent auction took place giving fans an opportunity to take home a Red Sox camouflage jersey. Just one of many ways the Red Sox would like to say thank you to our local men and women who have served and who continue to serve.
