Titans Re-Loaded For River Ridge Run

ROANOKE (WSLS-10 SPORTS) - The camp tour checks in at the home of the Titans where last season was a re-load  in hopes of being able to come out 'all weapons firing' in 2016.

Coach Scott Weaver's Titans have been playoff bound 6 of his 7 years at Hidden Valley, while last's year's 3-7 mark still sent them into the postseason, the first round exit that followed wasn't ideal.

This year the team returns all but one starter, including Ryan Mitchell. He's a standout wide receiver who caught 75 passes, and quarterback Jonah Fitzgerald.  The sophomore aired it out for more than 25 hundred yards and 28 touchdowns a year ago.

The Titans are loaded with returners every where you 'turn'.

"You know our tailback, our quarterback, all of our receivers but one, and all our offensive line and our H back return. Defensively we have to replace one corner but other than that everybody got experience which is a good thing.  I mean we didn't go three and eight for nothing, so you know we've got a lot of kids experience a lot of big games and they got to take a long playoff trip and hopefully that comes back as a reward this year, " explains Hidden Valley coach Scott Weaver.

The Titans open at Patrick Henry on Friday August 26th.
