Round Town: music, art and cars

(WSLS 10) - Nelson County is home to the Lockn' Festival this weekend. Around 30,000 people are expected to attend the music festival. Acts include Phish, My Morning Jacket and Circles Around the Sun. Single day passes start at $79. The festival runs tonight through Sunday.

The Deschutes Street Pub comes to Roanoke. The beer maker selected Roanoke for its new east coast facility earlier this year. Now, you will get the chance to get to know the craft brewer and try some of its beer. The Street Pub is at Roanoke's Elmwood Park from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free. Beer tokens are $5.

Downtown Wytheville is home to Art at the Crossroads on Saturday. Local artists and crafters will set up in downtown, allowing you to shop for some things for your home. There will also be food and craft beer as well as music. It runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Head to Christiansburg as the New River Valley Homebuilders Association presents Touch-a-Truck. Kids will get the chance to climb on, touch and learn about their favorite big trucks and cars, including fire and rescue, construction equipment and race cars. It's Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New River Valley Mall.

The Pulaski County Humane Society holds a car wash for critters today. There's no charge for getting your car washed, but donations are accepted. Proceeds go to food and care for the animals. It's 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Bank and Trust in Fairlawn.

If you're a fan of beach music, head to Pulaski for the final show of the season in the Jackson Park Summer Concert Series. The Catalinas will perform. The show runs Friday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

If you're a fan of classic cars, head to the 3rd annual New Castle Cruise-In. You'll see classic cars, trucks, farm tractors and motorcycles lining Main and Court Streets. There's also music, food and a raffle. The cruise-in runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
