(WSLS 10) - Traffic changes will take place starting tonight in Nelson County ahead of the Lockn' Festival. Starting tonight, Routes 668 and 650 will close to traffic at times. Route 653 will be closed. Through traffic on Route 29 South should use the left lane with northbound through traffic using the left lane. The festival begins Thursday and runs through the weekend.

A preview of the documentary "The Promise" will be shown today in Charlottesville. It shows interviews with key players and footage of the trial leading up to Soering's conviction. He is the son of a German diplomat, serving two life sentences for killing his ex-girlfirend's parents in 1985. After the screening, Soering's attorneys will talk about new evidence that they say shows a poorly handled police investigation.

The Grandin Theatre in Roanoke will show "611: American Icon" tonight. The movie tells the story of the steam locomotive. The film takes you inside the locomotive and lets you hear from the restoration team. The movie begins at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $15.
