AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Amherst County Sheriff's Office arrested a 52-year-old on multiple sex crimes on Wednesday.
Carlton Adcock, of Amherst, faces seven counts of forcible sodomy, seven counts of inanimate object penetration and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

The sheriff's office began its investigation after a referral from Amherst County Social Services.
Adcock was arrested without incident and transported to the Amherst Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
