(WSLS 10) - The Star City Concert Series returns to Elmwood Park in Roanoke on Saturday. The final show of the season features Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the gate. Gates open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.
Star City Cruisers holds its annual Car, Truck and Cycle Show. In addition to the cars, there will be door prizes, a silent auction and a coloring contest for the kids. It's Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Salem VA Medical Center.

Head to Rocky Mount for the Warren Street Festival. It's a celebration of African-American history in Franklin County. You'll see musical performances, enjoy food and arts as well as a car show and parade. The festival is Friday starting at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m.
Spend "An Evening in Buchanan." Bring your family and rediscover small town America. You'll enjoy carriage rides, a car show, music, craft beer and more. Many downtown businesses and restaurants will offer extended hours. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Do some shopping at the Downtown Sidewalk Sale. Retailers will step out of the store onto the sidewalk for some end of season savings. There are giveaways to early shoppers as well as a raffle. The deals run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Wytheville Community College holds its monthly Bluegrass and Old-Time Jamboree on Saturday. You'll enjoy the music of Adam McPeak and Mountain Thunder and the Mountain Park Old Time Band. The event is free but donations are accepted. The music runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
