DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - A store in Danville was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.
A store clerk at the E-Z Stop Market at 545 Memorial Drive, reported that a man took out a gun and demanded money on Wednesday at about 11:28 p.m.
He said the man was black and had a cloth covering his face. He was wearing large reading glasses, black pants, no shirt, a black or navy hat and gloves.
Police say the suspect gave the clerk a backpack to put the money in, and after getting an undetermined amount of money ran away.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery. Police say no arrests have been made.
