FINCASTLE (WSLS 10) - As the world tracks down virtual Pikachus, a Botetourt County family is taking their Pokémon cards to the world championships in San Francisco.
11-year-old Georgia Honts and her brother, Logan, qualified for the international tournament.

The Botetourt County family started the Fincastle Pokémon League.
Each division winner at worlds will walk away with a $25,000 scholarship.
"You get to go play against like Japanese players, Korean players, French players, just all over the world," Georgia explained. "It's just all about communicating with different people and it's really fun to do that and if you when you get really awesome prizes and stuff. "
"I'm not planning for Pokémon to pay for college, but what a great way to reward what she's doing and what Logan loves to do," Marthe Honts, Georgia's mom, said.
Even though Georgia is in the top 25 of Pokémon card players her age, she's never played the game on a phone.
Logan and Georgia will be set up at the Salem Civic Center Sunday, August 14th at the Roanoke Geek Mob teaching people how to play the original card game.
