BOTETOURT COUNTY – As clean-up in West Virginia continues after a thousand year flood more families are in need of furniture.

Fincastle Baptist Church has delivered collected furniture to 53 families in Alleghany County and Greenbrier County, West Virginia so far.

60 more families are on the waiting list to get home essentials.

“We are looking for any kind of appliance, bedding, sofa, kitchen table. Most of us have something in our basement that were not using and we would encourage you to help you help the people who’ve lost everything.”

If you would like to give to help the additional 60 families, drop off donations at Fincastle Baptist Church on Route 220 in Botetourt County or at Mallow Mall in Covington.
