DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Danville Police responded to a traffic crash Sunday afternoon at 730 Piney Forest Road. Police said crews responded around 1:45 p.m. to the Hilltop Exxon for a report of a single vehicle crash and
discovered a vehicle had crashed into the business.

Investigators said a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe was parked in the parking lot to the right of the front door. The driver of the Chevrolet mistakenly put the vehicle in drive instead of reverse, lost control and struck the business said authorities. The
Chevrolet was only occupied by the driver. The store was only occupied by the clerk who was in a back office when the crash occurred. No one suffered injuries in this crash.
The Chevrolet sustained no damage and the business sustained approximately $50,000 in damages.
The driver of the Chevrolet was a 64 year old Danville city resident and there were no charges at this time.
