ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – The eastbound lane of Salem Avenue will be closed to thru traffic on Monday.
Starting August 1 and throughout the rest of the month, the eastbound lane of Salem Avenue between 1st Street and Jefferson Street will be closed.

Westbound traffic will be maintained with traffic control operations around the project area.
There will be "no parking, towing enforced" signs on both sides of Salem Avenue. The work is needed to replace the electrical cable lines for Appalachian Power.
Access to all parking area will be maintained.
No detour will be established
