AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Amherst County Sheriff's Office has made a second arrest related to the shooting on Coolwell Road in Madison Heights on July 6.
Steven Lee Higginbotham, 24, of Amherst, was arrested in Lynchburg on Thursday at about 2 p.m.

He faces charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle, malicious wounding, robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
He was taken in to custody by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.
