MARTINSVILLE (WSLS 10) -Â The Martinsville SPCA is set to host Kitten Adoption parties on Friday and Saturday.

It is teaming up with North Shore Animal League America and more than 50 partners across the country, to celebrate Hallmark Channel's inaugural Kitten Summer Games.
The parties will take place at the Martinsville SPCA on 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The SPCA will be offering $5 adoption fees on kittens 4-months and older, as well as a bake sale, a silent auction and pet services at a cost.
It will also show a sneak-peak of Hallmark Channel's Kitten Summer Games Trials.
The Kitten Summer Games, will premiere August 5 on the Hallmark Channel. The kittens will compete in a series of events including kitten gymnastics, balance beam, uneven bars,"deCAThlon" and more.
All of the players in the actual competition have found homes through Hallmark Channel's partnership with North Shore Animal League America.
