Former Centra nurse found guilty of prescription drug fraud

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - A former Centra Lynchburg General Hospital nurse pleads no contest to prescription drug fraud.

According to the Lynchburg Commonwealth's Attorney, Autumn Ferguson was found guilty of stealing Dilaudid from the hospital and replacing the painkiller with saline.

Reports show Ferguson accessed the "Acudose" machines 36 times between October and November of 2015.

She was terminated from her position that November.

Ferguson is set to be sentenced September 21.
