Clemson's Dabo Swinney says Tigers are ready to get back to work

CHARLOTTE, NC (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - There's no disputing the ACC powershift to the Atlantic Division in the past five seasons and the 2016 outlook looks no different. Defending ACC champ Clemson came up one game short of a national title quite simply their coach says it's time to get back to work.

"We got to go prove it and earn it all over again, with our daily commitment and we start over. New team, new chemistry, new leadership, pay the price all over again. With a humble and hungry spirit. We didn't win the game, we finished with some regrets ," said Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney.

Quarterback to DeShaun Watson is a preseason Heisman front runner the standout playmaker who understands that last year's run to the national title game doesn't win any games in 2016.

"We know that we have a target on us we got to go ten times harder to get where we want to do this year than we did last year, so we got to take it one day at a time and make sure everyone's on the same page and know and understand that nothing's going to be given to us we half to go earn it," said Watson.

Clemson's season will hinge on the October 29 match up at Florida State.
