Anyone 50 years old or above can stop by the Miller Center Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to cool off.

"We know that some of our citizens do not have air conditioning in their homes," said Parks and Recreation Director Jenny Jones. "Weather conditions can be extremely dangerous, especially for our elderly, and the forecasts indicate that, although the actual temperatures will be in the 90's, it will feel like it is over 100 degrees."

Bottled water and snacks will be available.
