AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Amherst County deputies arrested a man for the second time in a week on Wednesday.
They responded to a home on Richmond Highway for problems with other people. David Tyson Ramsey, 45, was arrested for violation of a protective order, attempted arson of the residence and attempted murder.
The first incident occurred at the same residence on July 16 where he was arrested for simple assault, assault on law enforcement and resisting arrest.
He is currently being held without bond at the Amherst Adult Detention Center.
