Radford man charged for trying to have a police officer, prosecutor murdered

RADFORD (WSLS 10) - Police charged a Radford man after they say he tried to hire someone to kill four people, including a police officer and a prosecutor.

A grand jury indicted Eric Diamond on four counts of soliciting the first-degree murder of Radford Commonwealth's Attorney Chris Rehak, a Radford police detective and two juveniles.

Diamond has previously pleaded guilty to rape and child pornography charges.

His first court appearance is scheduled for August 3 in Pulaski County Circuit Court.
