BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The New River Valley now has a place where community members can honor police officers through nature.
Memorial Gardens in Blacksburg just dedicated a new flower garden across from the First Responders Garden.

This is for loved ones and supporters to plant flowers that will mark anniversaries, birthdays or even just show solidarity. It is designed to honor both active and fallen officers across the country.
There is no appointment needed to plant in the garden. Cemetery staff takes care of all the maintenance.
