DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - The Danville Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened Saturday morning on White Street and Swanson Street.
Police said officers responded to a report of shots fired around 9:15 a.m.

Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Solomon Louis Jones, 38.
Police said his body will be sent to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
This is an ongoing investigation.
