ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Some young Star City community members connected with police officers on Tuesday morning.
The West End Walk follows the deadly violence that has been making headlines nationwide recently.
Officers joined children from the West End Center as they walked to the Grandin Theater to see a movie.
Center leaders say the goal was to show kids a united front between their parents, police and the entire community.
