BOONES MILL (WSLS 10) - Healing Strides of Virginia kicks off a fundraising campaign after several donors step up to make a difference.
Four people came forward committing $50,000 to the horse therapy program if leaders could raise another $50,000.
All money raised will support all therapy programs including veterans and mental health.
"We want everybody who's touched by this organization to help in some way financially, so it's an opportunity for people that normally, they go they don't need my five dollars. Yes, we do! We need that $5.00," said Carol Young, Executive Director.
"If you need us will find a way to get you on a horse," explained John Igoe, volunteer.
The "$100,000 in a 100 days" campaign runs to October 1st when Healing Strides holds its annual gala.
