AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Amherst County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested a 42-year-old Amherst man on Tuesday they say had child pornography.
Timothy Brian Rinker was arrested, without incident, on eight counts of possession of child pornography. He was transported to the Amherst Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.

The charges stem from an ongoing investigation that is being conducted with help from the Lynchburg Police Department.
The sheriff's office anticipates more charges will be filed against Rinker.
