RICHMOND (WSLS 10) - At 2 p.m., members of former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell's team are scheduled to speak at a news conference.
This follows the Monday morning decision by the United States Supreme Court to vacate McDonnell's previous convictions.
The following people are scheduled to speak:
- William (Bill) H. Hurd, Partner, Troutman Sanders, served as Solicitor General of Virginia (1999-2004)
- Andrew (Andy) Miller, former Attorney General of Virginia (1970-1977)
- Stephen Rosenthal, Partner, Troutman Sanders, former Attorney General of Virginia (1993-1994)
- Mark L. Earley, Earley Legal Group, former Attorney General of Virginia (1998-2001)
- Senator William (Bill) Stanley Jr., Franklin County, Virginia (2011-present)
- Janet Kelly, former Secretary of the Commonwealth of Virginia (2010-2014)
