DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - God's Pit Crew continues to help with flooding relief efforts in West Virginia, but the group nearly run out of supplies.
Since June 24, God's Pit Crew has sent seven truck loads of supplies to five different communities in West Virginia.
An eighth load is in the process of being sent, and once it's sent, God's Pit Crew will be completely out of supplies.
Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., volunteers will be out at the Sam's Club in Danville and the Wal-Mart in Galax collecting bottled water, money and any other supplies that people want to donate.
A collection site will also be set up from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Buckner Industrial Rigging in Rustburg.
GPC volunteers are also preparing blessing buckets as fast as they can for those in need in West Virginia.
God's Pit Crew's operation's manager, John Cline, says the organization needs all that it can get right now.
"We are still being inundated with calls from West Virginia, people asking, needing, bottled water and supplies and we just don't have it," Cline emphasized.
As of Monday, God's Pit Crew had a team of volunteers on the ground in West Virginia assessing the damage.
