RADFORD (WSLS 10) - UPDATE: The suspect involved in a robbery at Carter Bank and Trust has been arrested. Bradley Wimmer, 34, of Pembroke, was taken into custody at the Olive Garden Restaurant in Christiansburg around 6 p.m. Thursday by members of the Christiansburg Police Department.
Wimmer is charged with the following:
- Burglary
- Grand larceny
- Robbery
- Use of firearm in the commission of a felony
Wimmer is being held at the New River Regional Jail without bond. The majority of the stolen money has been recovered.

Radford city police are searching for the man they say robbed Carter Bank and Trust on Thursday afternoon.
Police are investigating the armed robbery at the bank, located at 1900 East Main Street in Radford that happened at 12:30 p.m.
Police say the suspect is a man who was dressed in all black with a green mask and sunglasses.
He ran away from the bank and police consider him armed and dangerous.
