DANVILLE (WSLS10)-- A North Carolina man is behind bars after police say he tried to steal copper pipes from a Wlamart Neighborhood Market construction site.
Monday morning, an officer at the construction site of the Walmart Neighborhood Market noticed a door was ajar just after 3 a.m. A U-Haul truck containing cut copper pipe was found inside and cut copper pipes were stacked at the door.

Police searched the area and found 28-year-old Robert F. Wilson, from Macon, N.C. He was arrested for burglary, grand larceny and possession of burglary tools.
