NELSON CO. (WSLS 10) - The Lovingston Fire Department was called to a brush fire Friday evening in the 800 block of Thomas Nelson Highway in Arrington.
When crews arrived, they saw a large fire.  Because of a lack of water sources, additional tankers were called in from all Nelson County Fire Departments.

According to firefighter, the fire started in a scrap pile of lumber which was 400 feet long and six feet tall.
More than fifty firefighters and twenty fire trucks were called to the fire.
