RADFORD (WSLS 10) - The city of Radford is gearing up for its third Radford Reads Festival this weekend.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday by the Glencoe Museum, there will be 30 local authors presenting workshops and hosting panels.

There will also be music and craft vendors.
Radford Reads is similar to the Festival of the Book in Charlottesville, and it was created in honor of a former Radford Public Library employee.
It has grown every year, and is expected to draw about 300 people.
Radford Reads is also being held in conjunction with the Celebrate Radford Festival, which will take place at the same time inside the Glencoe Museum.
