Concord man arrested for solicitation of a minor

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - On Wednesday just before 11 a.m. officers with the Lynchburg Police Department's Forensics Unit, Intelligence Unit, Community Action Team, and Field Operations Division responded to Fort Hill Shopping Center on Fort Avenue.

Jason Cordier, 38, of Concord, was taken into custody in reference to an ongoing criminal investigation involving the solicitation of a minor. He was charged with five felony counts of solicitation of a minor and one count of use of a communication system to facilitate certain offenses involving children.

Cordier is currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Lynchburg with no bond. The investigation is ongoing.
