UPDATE: Lynchburg police arrest fifth person in connection to firearm theft

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Lynchburg police arrested Trevor James McIntosh on Thursday afternoon.

Police say at about 2:06 p.m. they served him with his outstanding warrants for breaking and entering and grand larceny.

He is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.

Lynchburg police and the Amherst County Sheriff's Office arrested four men and recovered guns and drugs on Tuesday.

On May 17, the two agencies executed three search warrants at 4644, 4656 Fairmont Avenue and 3015 Forest Hills Circle Apartment H, in connection to a recent burglary in the county where multiple firearms and ammunition were stolen.

All three locations are in the city of Lynchburg.

They recovered $10,213, three handguns, an assault rifle, multiple boxes and rounds of ammunition, about 500 Xanax pills, marijuana and several other items unrelated to the Amherst burglary.

As a result of this investigation four men were arrested and charged, while one is still wanted.

Jermaine Antonio Sales, 20, of Lynchburg, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of firearm while in possession of schedule II controlled substance, concealed weapon, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a stolen firearm, grand larceny and breaking and entering.

Jorge Alberto Ochoa, 18, of Lynchburg, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

Austin Bryant Fitzgerald, 20, of Lynchburg, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of stolen property.

Jeremy Oneal Williams, 20, of Lynchburg, was charged with grand larceny and breaking and entering.

Police are still searching for 20-year-old Trevor James McIntosh, of Lynchburg, who is wanted for grand larceny and breaking and entering.
