PULASKI COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Stop 14 on the Virginia Proud Weather Tour took Jeff Haniewich to The Marketplace.
Tuesday marked the opening day of the 2016 season for the farmer's market. More than 20 vendors were out for opening day.
"In the last four years, it's gone from a market that was really dying, to something that's really happening," said Dr. John Knarr, the president of the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce.
Knarr said The Marketplace supports about 45 small businesses during the summer.
Vendors, food, music, dancing and even singing are all part of the The Marketplace.
