Lynchburg police arrest two teens in connection to thefts

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Lynchburg police charged two people after a series of thefts in the city.

On Monday, May 9, police executed a search warrant at 207 Amelia Street and found multiple items taken from vehicles.

Police say they found two handguns, a Samsung tablet, six cell phones, three iPods, a camera, and several other items that are still under investigation.

In connection to the thefts, Montez Rashad Hubbard, 19, of Lynchburg, is charged with obstruction of justice, grand larceny, grand larceny of a firearm, receiving stolen property or aid in concealing and two counts of petit larceny.

Police also charged Shyheim Shamane Horsley, 19, of Lynchburg, with grand larceny, grand larceny of a firearm and two counts of petit larceny.
