ROANOKE (WSLS-10 SPORTS) -One of the top junior golf tournaments in the nation will roll out a 33rd edition at the Roanoke Country Club May 20-22. The tournament will be bolstered by the fact that both the boys 15-18 and girls 15-18 champions will be returning to defend their titles. On the girls side, Emilia Migliaccio returns after a 2015 victory that included rounds of 68-68-69. The Cary, North Carolina star is 2015 AJGA Rolex All American. On the boys side, Oklahoma's Austin Eckroat returns as the 11th ranked junior boys golfer in the nation. The Scott Robertson has a long history of players heading to both the LPGA and PGA tours, and that tradition is well known to the contestants.

"That's why Austin Eckroat--the defending champion is coming back, because he knows the history of this tournament and he wants to repeat and see what he can do to defend his title," says Brandon Snellings, SRM Boys field administrator.

" Emilia Migliaccio will be back again this year and she actually will be eligible again next year so it's great to have a young winner so Amelia has a chance to regain her crown keeper crown and get another tree planted at Roanoke Country Club this year so we're really excited to see her come back," explains Debbie Ferguson, SRM Tournament Administrator.
