Lynchburg police searching for duo who allegedly used fake money

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Lynchburg police are asking for your help to identify two people they say used fake money at Wal-Mart.

On April 9, 2016, police say counterfeit currency was used to purchase items from the Wal-Mart located at 3227 Old Forest Road. Lynchburg police are working to identifying two people involved in the incident.

One is a man who was wearing a camouflage baseball hat, a red t-shirt, blue jeans and red tennis shoes. The other is a woman who was wearing a black Texas Longhorns sweatshirt and had long blond hair pulled back into a pony tail.

Both individuals drove away from the scene in a white sedan, possibly an older-model Honda Civic, which had a painted black fender on the driver's side of the car.
