PULASKI (WSLS 10) --Â David Eisenhauer, the teen charged in the death of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell, texted a Pulaski man about needing "a place to hide a body" according to a search warrant filed April 28.
The phone number texted was in contact with Eisenhauer before the abduction and murder, according to the warrant.
No charges have been filed against the man police say was the recipient of the text messages and as such, WSLS 10 will not report his name.
Investigators say the text messages between the man and Eisenhauer included content about needing "a place to hide a body near you" and "original plan failed."
It is reasonable to believe these communications referred to Lovell being abducted and killed, the warrant said. Police searched the man's Pulaski home in order to look for "all storage devices and information contained in the cellular telephone... Including but not limited to call logs, photographs, text messages, as well as any other information or evidence of the crime of abduction and/or murder."
WSLS 10 talked to the man outside the Pulaski home listed in the search warrant. He declined to respond to questions and proceeded up the staircase to post two "no trespassing signs" on the home.
Eisenhauer, is charged with first-degree murder and abduction in the death of Lovell. Natalie Keepers is charged with accessory before and after the fact to the murder and improper disposal of a body.
Blacksburg police would not comment on the new search warrant.
Preliminary hearings for Eisenhauer and Keepers will be held May 20 at 9 a.m.
