ROANOKE (WSLS-10 SPORTS) - A three-time Super Bowl champ visited Faith Christian school on Tuesday. Chad Hennings was in the star city for a series of appearances with business leaders, culminating in a stop at a local school. The former Dallas Cowboys star defensive tackle was and  All-American at the Air Force Academy, who went on to serve as a fighter pilot then returned to embark on what would be a superb NFL career. The successful businessman brought some words of encouragement and wisdom to the children today.
"You know I'm a huge proponent for mentorship and I think that is what is many times lacking in our culture. The aspect of giving back just talking to kids about life and how to overcome adversity,  the importance of character the importance of working just working hard and identity," explained Hennings.
