Science and art collide at ICAT Day


BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) – More than 350 artists showed off their work on Virginia Tech’s campus for the sixth annual ICAT Day.

The Institute for Creativity, Arts and Technology hosted 60 projects inside the Moss Arts Center.

Projects included everything from video games to robots. They were designed to show interaction between science and the arts.

The first ICAT Day attracted about 15 people. More than 1,000 spectators were expected to come through Monday.
