As of Monday, Jordan Jerome Ford and Malike Tremel Wallace are being held in the Regional Jail on secured bonds.

Here's what Captain Robert New had to say about the arrests:

"The Sheriff's Office has taken a proactive response to crime since Sheriff Hill has taken office in January of this year.  Our Deputies are patrolling all areas of the county, checking neighborhoods and businesses as part of our new Community Policing Project. It is the goal to have Deputies visible in the county both day and night. Sheriff Hill and the rest of the Nelson County Sheriff's Office are committed to making Nelson County a safe community for us to live in."
