RICHMOND (WSLS 10) - An expansion of computer-adaptive testing means elementary and middle schools students in the Commonwealth will take shorter Standards of Learning mathematics tests.

According to a news release from the Virginia Department of Education, the computer-adaptive version of the online test third graders are taking has 18 fewer items than last year's test.  This year, the test will be 32 items.
