Newspaper delivery man shot in Danville

DANVILLE (WSLS 10 ) - Danville Police say a newspaper delivery man was injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 2:41 a.m. units responded to the area of Berryman Ave. for a report of shots fired. While checking the area, they found a 67-year-old man from Dry Fork who reported that his vehicle was shot into while he was delivering newspapers. He was transported to Danville Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Personnel from the Investigative Division and Crime Scene Unit were notified and responded. The investigation is ongoing.
