CARROLL COUNTY (WSLS 10) - One man is dead after a crash on Interstate 77 on Sunday afternoon.
At 4:16 p.m., a flatbed tractor-trailer, driving north on I-77 at mile marker 18, ran off the left side of the road into a median and hit several trees, according to state police.

The 67-year-old North Carolina man was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the cab and died at the scene.
The tractor-trailer was loaded with cut lumber.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and the victim's name will be released once next-of-kin is notified.
