LEXINGTON (WSLS-10 SPORTS)-  The Keydets of coach Scott Wachenheim had a scrimmage Saturday in Lexington with roughly 50 plays and some special teams/situational work mixed in.

They'll conclude their spring workouts with a scrimmage on April 30th, but Coach Wachenheim was very specific about what he's looking for from his team moving forward.

"Well there's two things that we think-- we only won two games last year which is not enough. We had four losses within seven points and the difference between winning a close game and losing a close game is number one taking care of the ball on offense. Number two, taking the ball away on defense and in my opinion averaging one more yard per play on offense then the opponent does.  So the way to do that offensively is to have some explosive plays then on defense you want to limit explosive plays," explains the second year head coach.
